As teardrops fall with with the starry curtains..
You are still in my heart..
As my heart aches for the sound of your voice…
I close my eyes to remember it…

I had
Never got to see you..
Never got to touch you..
Never got to hold you..
Never had the chance to tell you..
How much I love you..

Why did it had to end like this?
Why the second time?
Why did you break your promise?
A promise said in time.

A promise that was made,
But never to be kept.
A heart given to your hands,
It never reached your heart.

You took a look inside,
And saw the emptiness there.
You saw not only me,
But the real and true me.

Without me knowing you took me out,
You held me in your arms,
Close to your body,
Close to your heart.

This wall i have created,
This image i have let people know,
Was not the real me,
The real me that only you know.

This was the first time,
the first time i truly gave my heart.
The one and only time,
to someone i truly love.

But in time,
when you found how fragile i was,
you threw me back inside,
breaking me into a thousand pieces.

Before the light returns,
I would have hidden them in my heart,
Those pieces deep inside,
That never will be known.

And as the light returns,
A different me you’d see.
A me that’s never me,
A me that will never show,
The me that only you know.
